This fun weekend in the wonderful Roundhouse at Halwell in sunny South

Devon focuses on three different types of felting - 2D needle felting, 3D needle

felting and wet felting.

Go Deer brings together three of the UK's best known experts in these fields for a weekend of learning and developing felting techniques and ideas.

​

On Friday evening  the lovely Amanda Critchlow kicks off the fun when she will be joining us to teach how to wet felt a precious little bowl. On Saturday we will be joined by the splendid Fi Oberon, author of 'The Natural World of Needle Felting' who will focus on 3D felting techniques whilst sculpting a darling little dormouse nestled in a conker shell. Sunday's focus will be on 2D felting a woodland animal with the brilliant fibre artist Sarah Vaci, who is well know for her incredible 100 eyes in 100 days project and also her beautiful pet portraits.

All this excitement takes places in a magnificent timber framed barn conversion with 8 ensuite bedrooms sleeping 12 all together.  It also benefits from lovely surroundings, a 12m heated indoor pool and a games room.

nibbles your way in between!
