Hello and welcome to Go Deer! I am Saj Collyer, a lifelong maker,  knitter and primarily a dressmaker.  Trained as a musician and also a specialist in Balinese gamelan music, I taught dressmaking and knitting at Social Fabric in Totnes, Devon for several years before going on to found Go Deer a company specialising in craft courses. I am also the organiser of Stitch Fest - the South West's biggest yarn festival which runs every year in November.

Go Deer now specialises in craft retreats, day courses and also offers one off craft parties.

GO DEER's STORY

Now in our fourth year, we have expanded our programme to include more day courses and for the first time a summer retreat!

The Go Deer name is becoming synonymous with our much loved Knitting & Stitching retreats...Imagine whole days, dedicated to doing the craft you love, in beautiful surroundings, with other like-minded people while a small team of friendly people look after you.

That's Go Deer!

I have been leading trips to Bali for many years now, usually with the focus on music and dance, but since 2019 we now offer a pick and mix trip where you can try your hand at silverwork in jewellery, batik, yoga, cookery, muisc and dance and more.  See the dedicated page here for more info!
