About the event
This charming workshop set in Philippa's beautiful workshop is a day with a focus on hand sewing.
If you can sew a button on then that is all the skills needed to get started. However, if you are an experienced stitcher Philippa can show you some fabulous embroidery techniques to incorporate into your project.
Textile artist Philippa will help you select your style, fabric, your colourways, your notions. Interpret it as you wish creating a homespun look, a super glamourous look or an earthy natural look. In the threading up of this project you have the option to add beads, trim and to incorporate herbs and spices to make a truly individual piece.
