Gamelan
Gamelan is a traditional percussive music that accompanies the life of Balinese people, an integral part of the culture. This distinctive sound knows no language boundary, meaning anyone can appreciate this form of art. Saj has studied gamelan for 30 years and teaches at the University of Plymouth
Balinese dance
This elegant and beautiful style accompanies most gamelan music. You don't need to have danced before to try this.
Balinese cookery
Like most cultures, food plays an intrinsic part of daily life and the Balinese enjoy a culture of food for both scared and secular purposes. In taking this option you will visit the morning market to buy ingredients and will learn some popular Balinese dishes with their delicate, fragrant spice pastes.

"What an amazing three weeks! The attention to detail in planning and making sure everything happened as requested by all members of the party makes this stand out amongst all the travelling I have done.

Your understanding of the culture and people of Bali meant we experienced things that a regular tourist would never get a chance to do. Our visit to the night ceremony at the temple to watch Calonarang and trance dance was the highlight for me.

Thanks so much! Can't wait to book the next trip !"
