Sewcial Knitworking! is a warm and welcoming knit-and-natter style morning where crafters of all kinds come together to create, chat, and connect. Whether you knit, crochet, sew, or simply enjoy being around others who make, you're invited to join us for a relaxing and friendly session. Tea and cake are provided, and there’s just a £3 charge to cover costs. Crafting alongside others is a great way to boost wellbeing, share ideas, and feel part of a creative community. Sessions are on Wednesdays from 10-12 and usually run every two weeks, but please check our calendar for the most up-to-date schedule.
No need to book, just turn up on the day

Every Friday, between 9am and 2pm, you are welcome to drop off alterations and repairs to us at the Go Deer Workshop. From hemming trousers and shortening sleeves to repairing zips, fixing tears, replacing buttons and adjusting fit, we take care of the jobs that keep your clothes wearable and comfortable. Bring your items to the Go Deer workshop, let us know what you need, and we’ll make sure they’re repaired or altered professionally and ready to wear again.
Should you wish to learn to repair or alter you own item, this can be done by joining the DIY repair club where you will be guided in your own repairing at a cost of £10 per hour.
