Cancellations, Transfers & refunds
One-Day and Two-Day Courses
Bookings for one-day and two-day courses are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to a friend or family member at no additional cost. We must be notified of the replacement attendee's full name and contact details before the course start date.
Termly Block Bookings
Termly block bookings are non-refundable. We understand that circumstances can change, and while refunds cannot be provided for missed sessions, we will endeavour to offer a rescheduled session where possible. Any rescheduled sessions are subject to availability and are offered entirely at our discretion. We cannot guarantee that missed sessions will be rescheduled.
Verbal, Telephone, Email and Text Message Bookings
Bookings made verbally, by telephone, email, text message, or any other informal communication method are considered binding once accepted and confirmed by us. By making a booking through any of these methods, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including this cancellation and refund policy.
For bookings made verbally, by telephone, email, or text message, you have a 5-day cooling-off period from the date of booking during which you may cancel and receive a full refund, provided the course or term has not already commenced. Once the 5-day cooling-off period has expired, no refunds will be issued, and the booking is binding and must be paid for.
Transfers and Missed Sessions
Where a transfer of place or a rescheduled session is permitted under these Terms and Conditions, this is offered as a goodwill gesture and remains subject to availability and our discretion.
Exceptional Circumstances
Any exceptions to this policy will be considered solely at our discretion. Our decision regarding refunds, transfers, credits, or rescheduled sessions shall be final.
RETREATS & TRIPS
Our commitment to you:
We try to represent the courses and retreats to you in a true and straightforward way. Where you are not happy with the service please tell us and we can normally resolve things. In any case, we would like you to write to us within 14 days of the end of the course or retreat (herein, ‘retreat’) with full details of your reason for writing. All retreats advertised by us are operated by Go Deer (herein, 'we' or 'the company'). Our regisytered office address is Pool Farm, East Harptree, Somerset BS40 6DE
Insurance:
We strongly advise all our guests to arrange Personal Accident and Travel/Cancellation Insurance when booking onto one of our retreats.
Booking information:
The retreat cost includes the retreat fee, accommodation, tuition where applicable and all meals during your stay. Travel to the venue is not included in the price but if you are travelling by train we will give you free station transfers from the nearest station.
Special diets can be catered for, so please inform us of your requirements when booking your retreat. Participants must be over 16 years of age and all our retreats are non-smoking inside the premises. 16-17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.
Payment Policy:
A non-refundable deposit of £150 is required for each retreat. Where the full retreat is paid for on booking, £100 of this amount is the deposit. This deposit is taken upon booking the retreat, with the remaining balance being due 12 weeks prior to the start of the retreat. If the retreat is booked less than 12 weeks in advance the deposit facility will not be available and the full amount will need to be paid when booking.
Rescheduling Policy:
If you decide to reschedule from one retreat to another, it will be treated as a cancellation on your part and the ‘Refund Policy’ terms and conditions herein shall apply.
Refund Policy:
If you decide to cancel the retreat after paying the deposit, this deposit can be transferred to another retreat or another person (to be used within a 6 month period of the original retreat booked) but cannot be refunded. A rescheduling fee of £50 will apply.
Cancellation Policy:
If you have to cancel your booking, we operate the following scale of charges from the date we receive your cancellation in writing:
At least 56 Days before the booking begins – Deposit Only is chargeable
55-29 Days before the booking begins – 30% of full amount of booking is chargeable
28-15 Days before the booking begins – 60% of full amount of booking is chargeable
14-1 Day(s) before the booking begins – 100% of full amount of booking is chargeable
Depending on your reasons for cancelling, it may be possible to claim for a refund from your travel insurance. Contact them for details prior to booking.
Liability:
Go Deer shall in no event be held liable for any loss or other damages including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential, or any other damages.
