Create a bold, one-of-a-kind statement piece from surplus clothing and fabric! Get creative, get sustainable, and get cozy in this hands-on workshop where you’ll design and construct your very own paneled oversized jumper using a mix of upcycled garments and fabric scraps. Whether you love bold prints, color blocking, or contrasting textures, you’ll leave with a truly unique piece and the skills to keep designing sustainably.
What You’ll Do:Make made-to-measure adjustments to a basic oversized raglan pattern block, then design and assemble multiple panels from repurposed materials to create your custom jumper.
You’ll Learn How To:
Deconstruct old garments to harvest usable fabric
Combine fabrics of different weights, textures, and colors
Draft and adapt a simple oversized jumper pattern
