For those who love a bit of glitz and glamour! Polymer clay is the ideal medium for making statement beads as it’s extremely light in weight and easy to wear. When it’s combined with metallic foils and alcohol inks, the effects that can be achieved are seemingly endless and beautiful. On this course, you'll learn how to prepare your clay and apply imitation gold, silver or copper leaf. We’ll enhance the effects of the foil by adding alcohol inks - the patterns and effects that you can create are amazing! You’ll design your own necklace, creating a set of one-of-a-kind ‘flat’ beads cut from your foiled sheet. Once your beads have been cured, you'll string your necklace and earrings, to take home a gorgeous, unique, eye-catching set.
